Dear Friends and Colleagues
I am very happy
and proud to tell about the publication of my book on the history of Life
Extension research, entitled “A History of Life-Extensionism in the Twentieth
It includes a broad overview of the subject in several
major contexts (France, Germany, Russia
and Ukraine, the US and the UK), considering both the history
of various scientific methodologies and theories proposed and the social and
ideological determinants of this pursuit. The book was highly reviewed by
several prominent figures in aging and longevity research, some of whose
comments are included on the book cover.
It is my special privilege and honor to announce the
publication on this list, which is in fact composed of prominent figures in
aging and longevity research, the makers of this history! Many members on this
list are either quoted or directly referred to in the book. Your opinion of it
is most cordially and eagerly anticipated!
I would be very grateful for any review or feedback. If
you would like to write a review (on Amazon, or any other public or academic
venue), I will be happy to provide a free PDF for reviewing.
Proceedings from the sales of this book will
to international longevity research and advocacy projects, for example Regional
Longevity Outreach http://ift.tt/1rJvMjd
or Israeli Longevity Alliance
